Nigel successfully operated in the Hythe area as a mortgage consultant in his own right.  With the introduction of mortgage regulation in 2004 Nigel decided to join forces with a Directly Authorised company in order for him to still have the freedom to give fully independent advice.  Of all the companies Nigel had the option to join, he chose Oakwood. "I joined the financial services industry 8 years ago and qualified as a Financial Advisor working for a large insurance company and I was promoted to a Sales Manager within 18 months of my joining. In 2002 I decided to specialise in the mortgage side of the industry and was recruited to set up and manage a broker arm of a mortgage network operating nationwide.
